Selected from among 75 competing artists David won the 2010 Acoustic Slam Competition sponsored by the NightCat in Easton, MD. The crew of the Space Shuttle Discovery chose David’s song, In A Little While, as the wakeup call for the March 2009 mission. In 2008, David appeared on the premier episode of Nashville Star on NBC as a finalist in the military casting call filmed aboard the Iwo Jima.
