Mark Mangold of Rams Head Promotions says----”David is the real deal… a singer/songwriter with a great sense of detail and the voice to sell it. Fans of Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen should add Dave to their record collection today. Dave’s live performances feature his wry wit and showcase songs that win over every audience I’ve seen him in front of. I’d sit at the end of the bar, drink a shot of whiskey, and listen to him anytime."

Selected from among 75 competing artists David won the 2010 Acoustic Slam Competition sponsored by the NightCat in Easton, MD.

The crew of the Space Shuttle Discovery chose David’s song, In A Little While, as the wakeup call for the March 2009 mission.

In 2008, David appeared on the premier episode of Nashville Star on NBC as a finalist in the military casting call filmed aboard the Iwo Jima.
Todd Walker, host of Sunday Songwriter Songfest says----"I love it when David comes to town. Not only is he a good guy, but he's the ultimate live performer, mixing humor and great songs together for an enjoyable time. His songs are an upbeat mix of country and folk/rock with a little bit of jazz thrown in for good measure His lyrics are both heartfelt and catchy. Did I mention he plays the guitar really well?
